The jaws on these pliers is smooth, delivering a clean, precise cut. Straight-blade shears are perfect for cutting fine, straight lines. A built-in locking mechanism holds the shear closed when not in use for safe storage and transport. To lock, hold the shears closed and rotate the knurl-edged lock upward into the notch in the side of the shear. Made in Germany, these shears have 54-64 Rockwell hardness.
