Italtec Oval-Head Micro-Bevel Cutters
Cut with a laser, the jaws on these Italtec micro-bevel cutters feature sharp, precision edges that make crisp, repeatable cuts; the oval head shape helps extend the life of the blades. Bevel cutters are the most durable of cutters; they require more pressure to make the cut and have a distinct V-notch on the back surface that leaves a pronounced pinch at the ends of the material. Micro-bevel cutters are designed with smaller heads and finer jaws that improve access to finer details or close work areas. The jaws are made of C70 steel hardened to 62 HRC; the jaws will not be nicked with normal use and tend to keep their shape. Clean with Cosmoline® or a similar protectant; avoid contact with moisture.
- Adjustable lap joint; a screw is set through both halves, allowing the joint to be adjusted as needed.
- Double-leaf spring that holds the handles apart until they are squeezed closed. This spring delivers a fast, strong rebound for improved productivity.
